Colonial Nostalgia is a new website dedicated to offering maps, prints, books, art work and miscellany dating from or related to Indonesia's colonial era oftentimes referred to as Tempo Doeloe the Old Times. Based in Bali our aim is to serve the growing Indonesian market. Sadly many of these old books and works on paper are rarely found here for a variety of reasons including the tropical.
Our aim is to serve a variety of markets including private collectors, designers, decorators and anyone interested in this unique and stimulating heritage. For example we can offer individual photo prints from the famous Kleyenberg Series for hanging on the wall or locate a complete set of 300 pieces.
Our prices are purposely low to make these often expensive items available to a broad public. With access to several large collections in Indonesia and Europe, Colonial Nostagia can also help you locate exceptional rare prints, maps, books and photos. As an affiliate of Island Arts we can also help with advice and appraisals. If you need frames let us know.
Because we are an Indonesian site our prices are in Indonesian rupiah and US$ and include normal sending costs by the PT Post Indonesia within Indonesia except for objects that may require special packing and handling. Non-Indonesian residents are also welcome.
